How does Voice Inbox work?
When someone calls, the application answers the call with a pre-recorded greeting and records the voice message left by the caller.
When new messages have been received, Voice Inbox puts a notice on the phone’s display and the yellow Voice Inbox desktop indicator changes its color to red.
You can then play /delete the received voice messages and you can also see message details: when the message was recorded and who the caller was as well as make a one-click call-back.

Fingerprint is a neat little application that simulates the scanning of your fingerprint to permit you to use the phone. True to the tradition of the secret agent genre, Fingerprint is presented in a black background with neon green graphics. Of course, this should not be taken too seriously as the application is but a party favor. It is just another cool add-on to your Nokia 5800 XpressMusic phone.
With the current time found at the top portion of the screen with the current day and date, the fingerprint scanner is right in the middle. And how does the Fingerprint work?
Here’s how: You are to put your finger on the scanning area and the application will start “scanning it” together with realistic scanning sound effects and blinking lights. Fingerprint will allow you to unlock the phone not because of your fingerprint but because of the number of times you let the application sound off with its beeping sounds. Let us say it is set on “three”, this means that you have to let Fingerprint pass your finger three times. Then, remove your finger and you will unlocking the phone. Of course, since you are the only one who knows about this, you can impress your friends that you have a fingerprint scanner on your Nokia 5800 XpressMusic phone.
